This course is for Police Officers who are not qualified with the  rifle. This course provides instruction in the handling, maintenance and firing of the M-16/M-4 rifle. instruction is provided on firearms safety, clearing barrel procedures, nomenclature, handling, firing positions,  reloading, and maintenance.  Graduates of this course are qualified with the rifle and prepared for Patrol Rifle — Phase ll. Training includes live fire each day.
