This course will prepare the student to conduct in-service training for police K-9 functions of trailing, evidence search, handler protection, criminal apprehension, building search. Selection testing of police dog prospects, tactical deployment, search and seizure law, first aid and decoy techniques will also be covered. Extensive hands on training of dogs for these Patrol functions, and decoy skills               development will also be completed during the course.
