This course gives officers the basic skills for responding to both audible and silent alarms. It includes basic tactics for making approaches, setting perimeters, making contact, and procedures for checking the welfare of individuals who may be responding under duress. This course includes a one-hour practical lab in which students are given the opportunity to practice skills learned.
