Crime Scene- Security Processing

Unlike the way they are depicted on TV, crime scenes are often chaotic and difficult to secure. There is so much going on and too many people coming and going. But if an accurate investigation is to take place, officers must properly secure a crime scene by following     certain guidelines. This course gives students the basic skills on how to properly respond to a crime scene, render aid, and record the    scene with notes and sketch. The student learns police officer’s responsibilities at a crime scene, the methods to document a crime scene and crime scene search methods.
