This course will prepare the student to conduct in-service training for military K-9 functions, concentrating on obedience, learning theory, explosives detection, cadaver detection. Selection testing of military dog prospects, tactical deployment, and search and seizure law will also be covered. Extensive hands on training of dogs for detection functions will also be completed during the course.
