Situational awareness is defined as knowledge and understanding of the current situation which promotes timely, relevant and accurate assessment of friendly, competitive and other operations within the battle space in order to facilitate decision making. This course helps develop an understanding of the applicable safety precautions while performing police duties. Officers will learn the correct procedures to respond to the different situations they will encounter on-duty.
