When a large amount of people gather, especially in protest, there is a tendency for that crowd to become unruly and the situation could escalate quickly. Police officers must understand the threat before mass chaos ensues and the safety of the public is in danger. This course gives officers the basic skills to identify crowd behavior and their tendencies. Officers will review the characteristics of crowds, resistors, and different types of mob tactics.
