An automobile is stolen every 33 seconds, on average, in the United States.  This course is designed to teach officers the different methods and tools thieves use to steal cars, the different types of auto theft, and the areas and vehicles high in theft.  Officers will also learn the procedures of how to investigate an auto theft, techniques on how to recover the auto, and tactics on how to prevent auto theft from high problem areas.
