When dealing with inmates, officers must be in total control of every situation. This course will teach officers how to secure both the facility and the inmates, custody procedures, and how to maintain control of every situation. Topics include take-down techniques while maintaining proper control of the inmate, searching techniques, and controlling techniques so inmates will not be able to gain an upper-hand on the officer.
