The apprehension and transportation course provides an understanding of legal requirements for lawful apprehension. It identifies the proper placement of prisoners in a vehicle under a number of situations. This course gives the student a full understanding of the how and why to conduct proper prisoner and vehicular searches prior to transporting. This course includes a one-hour training lab in which students practice and demonstrate those skills learned in the class.
